AiPast Privacy Policy

1. Application Overview

AiPast is an intelligent clipboard management application designed specifically for macOS, helping you manage and use clipboard content more efficiently. Our application adopts a local design approach where all clipboard data is stored on your device, ensuring your data security.

AI Features: The application integrates Alibaba Cloud's Tongyi Qianwen AI service to provide smart chat functionality for premium users, including content summarization, translation, formatting, and more. The AI service is only used to process clipboard content that you actively send, and does not collect or store any data.

2. Data Collection Status

2.1 Information We Collect

No Data Collection: The AiPast application does not collect any personal information, including but not limited to:

• No collection of usernames, emails, or account information
• No collection of clipboard content
• No collection of device information
• No collection of usage statistics
• No collection of network information
• No collection of AI conversation records

2.2 AI Service Data Processing

Regarding Tongyi Qianwen AI service data processing:

• AI requests only contain clipboard content that you actively send
• We do not store or record any AI conversation content
• The AI service provider (Alibaba Cloud) processes data according to their privacy policy
• We cannot access or control the AI service provider's servers
• All AI requests are temporary and are destroyed immediately after processing

2.3 Data Storage Method

All application data is stored on your local device:

• Clipboard history is stored in local database
• App settings and preferences are saved in local configuration files
• AI conversation history is only stored on your device
• Data is not uploaded to our servers
• Data is not shared with third parties (except AI service)

3. Data Security

Since we adopt a local design approach, your data security is maximally protected:

• Data is completely stored on your device, we cannot access it
• AI features only establish network connections when needed
• Application follows macOS security sandbox mechanisms
• You can delete application data at any time
• AI requests use HTTPS encrypted transmission
• We do not store any user data on our servers

4. Third-Party Services

Third-party services integrated by the AiPast application:

• Alibaba Cloud Tongyi Qianwen AI Service: Only used for smart chat functionality, does not collect user data

The application does not contain the following services:

• Third-party analytics tools
• Advertising services
• User behavior tracking
• Cloud storage services (except AI service)

5. Permission Description

The application only requests necessary system permissions:

• Clipboard access permission: for reading and managing clipboard content
• Local storage permission: for saving app settings and history
• Network access permission: only for AI chat functionality, connecting to Tongyi Qianwen service
• No camera, microphone, or other sensitive permissions
• No location information, contacts, or other privacy permissions

6. Data Deletion

You can delete application data at any time:

• Clear clipboard history through app settings
• Clear AI conversation history records
• Automatically delete all data when uninstalling the app
• Manually delete application data folders
• AI service provider's data processing follows their privacy policy

7. Privacy Policy Updates

If our application functionality changes, we will update this Privacy Policy promptly. Significant changes will be notified to you through in-app notifications.
